How to involve parents

For language learning to be effective, children need time to practise and re-use what they have learnt.  As well as rehearsing new words and phrases as regularly as possible in class, it can make a huge difference if school learning can be followed up at home.  With Manic Monkey software this becomes fun rather than work.  Schools and clubs whose children have their own Home Edition CD-ROMS all attest to the amazing progress their children have made.

"The CD-ROM contains lively and motivating activities…I found the whole course stimulating and effective and was particularly taken with the virtual reality world, as was the nine year old I tested it with. She had to be dragged away from the computer after more than an hour and begged for her own copy as soon as possible."

Times Education Supplement June 2005

"This software is one of the most motivational I have used with children. They were instantly engaged with it and many children chose to use the programme during their free time."

Evaluation by www.schoolzone.co.uk

"Tremendously motivating. The materials are colourful and imaginative. Children have made great progress by having their own CD-ROMS to use at home."
